Sucks to hear that the Spark amps are on backorder again. Good choice, though. However, there truly is no substitute for cranked tubes. I have the Spark and it's a great amp, but I still need to run up my tube amp to scratch that itch. :laughing

It’ll be over a month for the guitar by then. But it’s a brand new product line. I wanted the active pickups for variety of sound. But now I kind of want that purple Extura or at least the blue SG. I got the amp earlier this month just a few days after ordering it. I really wanted that big amp but it’s been 20 years since I picked up a guitar and I wasn’t even that good back then so this amp with all the possibilities should keep me engaged and eventually I can get the big amp.

Like last month, I bought myself some 32F thermal underwear that was on sale at Costco. I don't like to turn on the heat so I should be good this year. It never gets below 40 inside. :thumbup

we don’t do big christmas. one gift each (family all draws a name) - with a fairly low spend limit.

this year i asked for food (my usual in any gift giving situation). our family knows this is my standard response to ‘what’s on your list?’, and always comes up with some really cool specialty stuff. this year got bagels + the works shipped from an awesome shop in new york. absolutely divine!
