A link to what site? It was on all the news channels for an instant, then the story broke that they were both refugees taken in by a nice older foster couple. Then the story mysteriously died on the vine, which happens to any story the media wants to die a quiet death. The just don't report on it.

I would like the ability to post about things that are happening as a source of information.
Recently I went through a major disaster and barf was a news source as much as anything else.
Opening a thread like this should, IMO be reserved for talking about facts as they come up, follow up information after the fact, and all the political, biased, bullshit be kept to the private political thread.
Much like Reddit or BBC live threads keep their post to the facts of the incident with the goal of having the most information from all sources and comments are hidden if Barf shared it's resources to post facts, these threads would probably be awesome and very informative about what's going on and not Just the same argument about religion of peace.

Exactly. I think we can discuss news without the ideology. The fact people jump to Muslims and ISIS is ideology when zero fact are available.
