A war of words...(Schwantz Vs. Pedrosa/Puig)

Well Puig sounded a little childish in my mind. Saying Kevins championship was a result of "circumstance". In all championship bids there is some luck, circumstance, gobs of money. If you won aboard those 500cc highside rockets than certainly you deserved it! :ride

Shame on Dorna for publishing this mess. It is poor form for Kevin to make harsh comments and even poorer form for Puig to respond openly - downright disgraceful of Dorna to publish openly. It makes me despise the Dorna Puig Repsol Spain oligarchy even more. Pedro is a child caught in the middle

This just gets better and better. Schwantz had his column released today and you know he had time to say something about it. He didn't though.

Soup released an article takin his side and bashing Dorna, Dani, and Alberto. In there article they took every point and grid make a rebuttal to it but failed miserably. They need stop reporting anything.

worst site there is. to even cal lit journalism is a slap in the face to the word. I used to think most italian sites were biased, but the soup puts even fox news to shame.

They do but they do have one gem on there. Ryder's Notes by Julian Ryder. Only worthwhile bit reading. I don't like Schwantz so any chance I get to see him fail for anything is hilarious.

I think KS got owned. I've never liked Puig and he did bury KS but in the end it still feels like Puig is the mom in Dazed and Confused; afraid to let her little boy get hurt.

He is but at the same time don't you think it's better he stood up for Dani rather than say nothing. Dani is an amazing rider in an era with Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, MArquez. # of those competitors have multiple titles. One is on his way more or less.

Puig did exactly what a manager/agent does. Step in and handle the off track crap so dabi can focus on the track

As much as I ahte to say it Puig is one of the best managers in the sport. He has spotted a lot of great talent and helped to groom them at least a little bit including 2 Notable Spaniards on the podium today.

Really? I recall Simoncelli and family being very fond of him.

I don't care if Paulo And him are best friends, 99% of what comes put of his mouth is idiotic nonsense

for all I know kevin is a great guy in person. but his public words, collums, and opinions, are utter drivel.

I've said it before.

I never liked Schwantz. This entire episode from start to finish reminded me of a whining baby or irrelevant teenager shouting and crying for attention to feel needed.

Move on Schwantz. Puig is right, your time is up.

...and Casey Stoner.

While true I wasn't mentioning others. If we do that we can include Alvaro Bautista, Alex Rins, Alex MArquez, Tito Rabat(?), and a whole host of other names.

MOTOVADER- They like everybody. That's just how they are towards everyone. I wouldn't necessarily put a ton of stock in that.

Puig is the best manager by far and if he was American everyone would love him. It's just that he's Spanish and he represents the evil takeover of Nicky's place at hobda

Puig is a total :squid :mad His mouth has always got him in trouble uncounted times. I remember that from when he was riding GP's, & constantly getting soundly beat by Americans, every single race.

Schwantz is typically tight-lipped, so I have to wonder if what that foreign magazine quoted is actually true (typical bias Italian bike rags, stirring up sh_t is all they do!) Perhaps they got Kevin at the end of a big party & he was a bit drunk? I think more likely he was entirely misquoted.

Most here were not alive during the Lawson/Rainey/Schwantz era, & have not seen him ride an uncompetitive bike like a competitive one. Half out of control all the time, yet just in control, he stunned millions continually. I was lucky enough to watch a few GP's live & see it for myself. He was a GP God; most alive during that period would agree...

Being a moto god doesn't preclude you from being a total shithead. Just ask Casey stoner, the guy with more wins than KS, who rode an even less conpateive bike to more victories
