Even though it's just in a straight line, going that speed is one of the most exhilerating, adrenalin pumping feeling I have ever had. I did a run a few min earlier that hit 174 but no video.
I would go back there just to hit a few more high speed runs!!

Fork oil. The drain hole bolt thingy is sheared off, and the remnants of the bolt either worked itself out or worked itself in. I can't tell until I give the bike a wash. :laughing

Got mine up to an indicated 156 on my second run. Not bad for an R6 at altitude!

One of the guys that was riding in my group claimed speedo read a 189 and a 184 in 5th gear, at 11grand on a 06 gixxer 1k ..... and depending on how accurate his yellow box is, it should be close.
