Jesus-Maria ,4 and Cherry Lake were definitely the highlights of the riding part of the rally ! I was hoping Cherry Lake would never end until I started running out of fuel and water and energy for it

Even pulling in at 9:30 Pm on Sunday I still wanted to go ride yesterday :ride

i thought it was for REOspeedwagon, but it turns out REO is the owner's name

bug stats: 302 small block chevy at a claimed 400hp and from the sound of the cam in it, i believe it. t-5 trans, ford 9" rear end, custom chassis. i asked, with no intention to actually do it, if i could drive it and he said "sure, they know me around here" :laughing

inside, fit and finish was pretty nice... as far as i could tell in a dimly lit parking lot with more than a few beers in me. though, even with the beers, it was obvious the thing is capable of burnouts for blocks... of course the demonstration helped. :burnout

anyway, nothing from the ride home because.... i didn't want to. next year will be fun!

We shot over Sherman Pass and then up 395 to Bishop where we caught HWY 6. Then a little moonlight blast to The Big H the back way. We left Bishop at 7pm and got to Hawthorne at 8:15.

I guess we made good time :blush :devil

I don't remember Friday night for some reason. :dunno
