Glenn

Saw this thread title and realized I'd ridden with Glenn. We met at a Weaverville meeting spot and rode to Ft. Bragg. We talked for awhile waiting to ride out. Checked in on Saturday of that rally and I thought what a polite young man.
What I love about you guys is what I saw in Glenn, that knowing smile that says l like this motorcycle stuff !
My thoughts and prayers to family, friends and those who eased his transition.
Thank you Glenn for sharing some time with me.

:rip Glenn. Condolences to his family and friends. I hope that those who were there make peace with his passing. I'm sure having you all there made a difference for him too. <3

I've just re-read every post in this thread. While I appreciate the acknowledgement, I did nothing special. Everyone did. For instance Mike was my catalyst. Mike had the presence of mind to remember the fire station a half mile back and hollered for someone to go there. I just happened to be closest to my bike at the time and heard him. Mike found Glenn's phone, and checked for ICE. No ICE. Then checked Glenn's log and found a frequently called number. Thanks for not locking your phone, Glenn. I used my phone when we couldn't get a call out on Glenn's.

Many others tended directly to Glenn. We were a team. We acted together without debate.

FYI - motorcycles will be welcome to the memorial. I will update the first post.
In fact the family is going to ask for donation in Glenn's memory be made to barf in Glenn's name. I am so honored by that.

We will use those funds to supplement the distribution of our new Lane Splitting Tips pamphlet. A few folks got to see it at the rally and Kazman handed out some to riders at the Cycle Gear Sac clearance sale.

So very nice of the family to give back to motorcyclist in their sons memory. Wow.

So sad.
So moving.
The accident. The scene. The response. The follow up.

I met Glenn at the Weaverville Rally.
It's as everyone above has said...
Quite. Humble. Intelligent. Enthusiastic.
You will be missed Glenn.
But not forgotten.

Ryde on.
Ryde well.
Ryde long.

Tragic. My condolences to family and friends who knew him. It's bad enough to lose anyone, I find it even harder when they are an eager new participant to our sport.

RIP Glenn.

RIP Glenn. :rip :rose :rose

I hope his parents find peace. It's amazing to see the way BARF and everyone in general has responded to this. No negativity, no lecturing, just fond remembrance.
