New Bay Area wide lockdown, beginning Sunday until January 4. Very similar to March 17. One helluva holiday season.
Looks like more household projects for me!
I am sending out an urgent request to all distillers, brewers and vinters: KEEP PRODUCING!
Are you sure? I thought Gov Good Hair said yesterday that we had to hit some 15% ICU limit. It was poorly worded. But still, the bay area was better than other areas.
Website is cumbersome

Edit, I think we are not currently under stay at home orders
They will.
I work for a beer distributor and since COVID our numbers are up compared to last year. Bars and restaurants are down of course but people buy more beer at the grocery stores and that more than makes up for it.
Five Bay Area counties have decided not to wait for the state's planned regional stay-at-home order and are implementing the new restrictions ahead of schedule.
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Santa Clara, San Francisco and the City of Berkeley (which has its own public health department) announced the new measures in a joint press conference Friday afternoon.
Here's what will change when the order goes into effect:
Restaurants will close to both indoor and outdoor dining. They can only do takeout or delivery.
Bars and wineries have to close (indoor and outdoor)
Hair salons, barbershops, nail salons and other personal care services have to close
All retail stores can stay open, but must drop capacity to 20%
Private gatherings of any size will be prohibited

im still amazed people are going to bars and restaurants

I'm not. People should be allowed to make their own choices, and deal with their own consequences.
Sitting outside, properly distanced, without the walled-in tents (which make "outdoor" dining really indoor anyway) is fine. Kelly and I both did this many times without issue. I'm not against that at all.
The essentially giant indoor tents are hilarious.
Personally I don’t think individual piecemeal shut downs is correct
