2000-2010 was the information age.
2010-2020 was the misinformation age.
We'll see what the next 10 years bring us.
How do you know that? Did you use an internet resource to tell you that, because that would make you some kind of, whatever Gab said...
How is the JH database going? Care to post any numbers? I'm sure the circle jerkers will rejoice in your contribution.
The ol' "Double Down"... :laughing
Hard to take your posts on this subject seriously at this point. :dunno
But hey, UBU! :thumbup
That post was a mere response to y'alls circle jerk.
Do you have objection to the published report I linked?
You are part of the 30 percent who don't think the virus is a big deal.
You are actually quite free, despite "limitations," to ignore the advice of scientists by hosting as many indoor gatherings as you wish.
Have at it.
Nobody will stop you.
You'd be wrong. I think CV is a death sentence for me and some of my family, and a reason I am interested in accurate reporting and analysis of the risk. In the other thread, I was reporting numbers about how the disease affects different races, because some of the PC reporting is just that, more interested in feels than data. Also, if you hadn't noticed, I also stated that the current mitigation guidelines are a joke, such as 6' distancing and cloth masks are not enough. I probably wouldn't mind too much to see a full military lock-down for a month. Maybe I'm the 1% on the other end of the spectrum? Yeah, I think everyone should be locked up in their homes and let the thing run out. But just one oofus undoes any of that.
I'm a numbers guy so what is the problem with looking for the most recent IFR analysis and present the data? That makes me some kind of American dick with a computer? Maybe it's just me but I'd rather look at it pragmatically rather than a chicken little screaming about the sight of morgue trucks. And not that it isn't a bad thing to see, but it is expected.
Again, I just like numbers. They don't express emotion. The longer we go through this, the better the scientists will be able to analyse and report more accurate IFR numbers, so if anyone has better IFR numbers, or any scientific analysis of the situation, I am happy to see them.
Anyway, hope y'all had a good Thanksgiving and have a good Christmas, if you're not too hung up on something that should invalidate them, and no infections spread to your world. :thumbup
