Don't worry, Celeste and her Friends will be back with more attempts to derail the development of the expansopm area.

She still has three lawsuits against State Parks, I think. I'll have to check. She has lots of money and lots of time.

And lots of hate.

Yes, she used her various vehicles to file like three separate suits challenging adoption of the new general plan. One of them, Alameda County parks has dropped out. CORVA and BARF are filed as intervenors... this will go on for years. I think it has been a year already.

She got one dude to file the Senate bill SB249, and another to file this Assembly bill AB1316, both of which our community resolved.

She will do another. She has connections, money, and this is what she does.

Celeste Garamendi, sister of Congressman Jon Garmendi, rich cattle ranching family, married to Mark Connally, owner of the 9000 agre cattle ranch adajacent to Carnegie.

She seems dedicated to outlawing OHV. She has lots of money and time on her hands.
