McRib is returning!

In before the gross, mystery meat, couldn’t pay me to eat one people.

Now that’s out of the way. On to the matter at hand, for everyone else who just gets giddy every time this magnificent piece of fast food technology graces us with its limited time presence.

It’s back. And not my friend’s cousin said he got one at a McDonalds down near Bakersfield kind of back. National campaign kind of back. 9,000 stores nationwide kind of back. November 1, the gluttony begins.

Why don't they just stop taking it off the menu...

I'll grab one if I happen to be driving by and they're in again but there's nothing that special about it and I'm not going out of my way just to get one because of a "McRib is back" ad from McD. Just leave it on the menu.

I guess the McRib is back marketing strategy is working though or else they wouldn't do it all the time. :dunno

Exactly. Limit supply to increase demand. They probably know certain times of the year are slowest, therefore "re-release" certain product at that time, drive more business into the store, more profit.

Not trying to hate on anybody who likes their McRibs and is excited to get it back. I can't think of anything on a fast food menu that's gonna make me run and get one because of limited supply.

Not sure if true, but there’s word that the same material used to make yoga mats is in the McRib... so eating one is kinda like doing yoga.... right?
