Do you park in the garage? Rich People? Tools?

I like parking in my garage so I don't have to hose off my windshield in the morning I've also noticed driving around town, Danville area, that many of the big ass houses around here have cars parked in the driveway like a Lexus commercial. I mean, some 4+ car garages and the cars are all outside. Whats the deal with this? Guess maybe they are using their garages like me.

Are you a trust fund baby? :laughing

don't worry about it, bunch of xenophobic armchair warriors 'round here. post more, become one of us...

I don't mean it as spam. If the moderators think it's out of line, please feel free to delete the post and the pictures.

I included the web site because it's got a bench-by-bench tour of the garage -- more information about how I built most of the stuff you see out of second-hand and damaged stuff. The web site has no commercial component at all. There is no advertising on it. I get no benefit from more visits -- I pay for the thing out of my own pocket.

I posted the pictures and information because I'd been sent a link to the thread by a friend who thought my garage might be interesting in this discussion. I think the shop has a lot of useful ideas for people who are trying to make the most of a small space without a huge budget.

So, to High Side: thanks.

To those of you who think I'm up to something, then my apologies. To me, the garage seemed relevant to the thread. I was already a member here, but I won't post any more. I've got nothing at all to sell and nothing to gain from anyone seeing my garage.

auntiebling is right, just post more, become one of us...

Yeah, what they said ... the only thing wrong with your photos is no photo of your bike (unless you don't have one at the moment and that is a painful thought/memory and if that is the case, my apologies for bringing that up). Still though ... where do you put the bike in that garage. :p

I think it's awesome. The car, the lift, the garage, the organization and use of space. Amazing. :applause

Mr. Olsen's Garage is nice, looks like he did most of the work himself and he did good work. Very nice!

I have 2 bikes, 2 cars, all my tools, and a fair amount of crap in my 3-car garage. Still plenty of room to work on stuff, though. Especially if I move one or both of the cars out.

I don't have a garage, but if I did, I image depending on the size, I might put my bike in there but then use the rest of the space for building/painting/art shit.

Having a place to do that is harder to find than a place to put a vehicle.

That's how it works at my place, but with no cars and 4 motorcycles in a smallish 2-car garage. I can get all my stuff done, and still have a bike on the table, but it can get pretty crowded.

Only have a bike, and it goes in the garage, but have plenty of space in there for a car too. Most people's garages are full or crap they don't need.

I disagree - all my four wheelers share the garage with my motorcycles - safe and out of the elements. :ride
