I make words too.
Thanks for the positive words!! Thats a bummer I'd be horrified for my baby in that case.
I jokingly told a couple people that Kyle (oceansides) pushed me down the stairs.
He didn't?

I'm experiencing a bit of pain in my forearm that I think might be related to muscle atrophy. Does anyone know how long it takes for that to set in?

It's already setting in, don't wait for it to set in more.
I've had surgery on both of my knees and, good lord, the pain from a bad knee and atrophy is nearly overwhelming.
The right knee surgery one was super painful; I took every pill the doctor gave me and listened to his every word; it took damn near a year or more to totally heal up, what an evil stupid process.
A year later the same thing happened to my left knee, splat-it blew out; this time I took no narcotic based pain pills at all. I also walked on the knee immediately after surgery and wouldn't you know it; I don't remember how long it took to heal because I was walking on it right off the operating table.
I also didn't have to do 'therapy' because I never stopped using my leg.
It's painful to use it right away but It's hella more painful to have to work your limb back to where it was. So, take your pick.. Fuck those pain pills, I'll drink a beer and take an ibuprofin.
I think you're our ticket to 24 hours of Lemons! We tell em if they don't let us in so you can work on teh car you've threatened to get back on a dirt bike again...
Nice that your already back! I can't wait.
Good luck for a full recovery.
Thanks! I'm a little better all the time. I started taking my arm out of the sling today for a little bit, longer than just to move my forearm. It feels weird, like I have an extra limb, but I can tell its getting better.
Thanks for all the well wishes.
Ugh, I broke my humerus right in the middle, snowboarding. I was also riding above my limit. Lesson learned!
Big bones sheared in two make for some gnarly x-rays. Hopefully the feeling is continuing to come back.
Nerves repair at 1mm a day, so just a little damage may take a long time to recover completely, however usually they do - so keep positive.
