If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know :)

It should be noted, however, that I am about as much use as a chocolate teapot, but still :rofl

Hope you are feeling better today Paul :)

Actually, I have some ideas that will help Paul out and make it much easier on him when he's released from the hospital, I just need to talk to him first. You'll be one of the first people I ask! :)

Wow, Paul, that is the most epic experience of motorcycling mayhem I may ever have heard.
May the long road to healing be a good one. Anyone organizing a BARF visit in Vallejo, or is it too soon?

He has another surgery, and then gets moved... once he's in Vallejo, I'm willing to bet he'd appreciate having visitors. Maybe a couple of days to recover a little more, and be on less meds (they make him sleepy).

Holy crap!

I always think of that scenario when riding on raised sections of freeway. I don't know Paul, but I am amazed and extremely pleased he's going to be ok. There are far to many RIP threads on this forum, so it's nice to see something so astounding, yet horrific play out with a good ending.

Heal up Paul. You are now the most famous rider in the bay area. :) Best wishes to you and your family.

Paul IS a tough dude:thumbup I call him the viking:laughing When I went to see him on Sun, I couldn't believe what good spirits he was in, considering how broken he is.

Paul's probably coming out of surgery right now. A screw in his hip had to be repositioned or removed before being transfered to Kaiser Vallejo. I believe that Kaiser Vallejo has Wifi. I know that Paul is anxious to communicate with everyone directly. He knows that a lot of people have been sending him well wishes. He appreciates everyone thinking about him.

Well, if the riding the daily meat-grinder won't kill ya, the alcohol poisoning from all the free booze from fellow BARFers will. :)

Heal up man! enjoy your groovy pills for now.

They had to remove the screw so he could get by the metal detectors at the Vallejo Kaiser. :twofinger

Heal up Paul.

I hope he has family or significant others to help him out at home. He is really going to need the help, even to do just the simple things.

Best wishes in your recovery Paul!

Will he be in a body cast as well?

P.S. I used to help take care of my folks. I live just across the bridge from Paul and would be willing to help out as well.

fyi, I don't do bedpan duty, my bedside manners suck, and I can't stand the sight of blood :cry

So I'll do anything that doesn't involve me getting grossed out or having to be nice :toothless :rofl

Yes, their mission, if they choose to accept it, is to leave Paul thinking this whole thing may have been worth it.

My best wishes to you, Paul.
