A motorcycle driver has driven off the Folsom St/Bay Bridge exit and landed on Clementina and First.

then 9 minutes ago:

Motorcycle driver has been transported to General with major injuries.

This sounds pretty crazy. Anyone have details? No link, couldn't find an article yet.

Rider down Fremont/Folsom exit overpass

Just drove past/saw one of my greatest fears as a rider ever.

Black KTM Super Adventure, looks to have been clipped by a van and sent into the wall. Rider went over the wall and fell onto 1st street below. I really hope the rider is ok. :(

Bike slid for quite a while and ended up laying against the wall, partially in the left lane of the off ramp.

Thoughts go to the rider and family.

Good news the rider is responsive. It's usually curtains going over the side of the freeway and down below onto surface streets.

My buddy Dan works right there, he took a pic of the SUV the rider landed on. Holy crap! I'm emailing the two buddies I know with SE's to make sure it wasn't them.

Fortunately, he landed on an SUV which likely significantly improved his chances for survival! It did considerable damage to the SUV.

There were a bunch of cars stopped on the side of the off ramp. From the video on kron 4 it sounds like he may have taken the turn too fast, but from what it looked like there was a large white van that might have clipped him. It was hard to tell.
