Hang in there OP, healing sucks. I didn't read all the posts but from what I gather your a bit plugged. Vicodin does that to me also. Last time around I didn't go for 3 weeks. Hurt like hell when it was time.

I'm getting unplugged little by little my gf through the it was god to like the bed pan in a garbage liner. Ended up making the poo stick to my buns and created a world of mess. ((Thanks for wet wipes sweet baby Jesus))

Hey man. haven't read every post in here so I don't know what all's been said already, but just just wanted to say hang in there. I broke my femur in a race a few years ago so I know what you're going through. with the hardware in there you'll be bouncing around before you know it (I was driving a stick shift after 3 weeks, and it was my left/clutch leg that broke) I found keeping it stimulated (not so much it's in pain) helped with the recovery. Best wishes and heal up quick.

As for the waste issue, I had that as well. I ended up just using an off the shelf softener from Walgreens or something, but that seemed to help things get moving. good luck out there

Keep laughing, but another BARFer who is an RN has seen poop come out the wrong end due to obstruction.

now see here, i know it can happen, but it is extremely rare, and it's not like people here are describing. you do not drop actual turds out ya mouth, period. it does not happen. ever.

Thanks man I appreciate your nice words and kind thoughts. I know it will take time... Just sucks the weather is so beautiful out right now and I'm stuck inside.

This is how my accident happened

Really though we were riding at a good clip up in lake county smashing on all
The backroads up there and ended up losing the rear on a decreacing radius turn. Lost the rear at 50mph and slid into a guardrail that was dead infront of me. Ass end first of the bike jacked the whole subframe up like an L bracket. Ended up getting heli'd out in 12 mins (I wrote them an email yesterday thanking all the guys on the flight for saving my life and they responded back saying how nice it is to hear positive feedback back from people when they save lives everyday)

without the life flight I'm pretty sure I was toast I was in the middle of no where. Authorities that came said at least once a day there is a terrible accident that occurs there so that's why life flights are so fast there now because they know what exactly how/where to land and what to do.

Scary stuff, man. I'm so glad that you are alive to tell the tale. Please let us know if you need anything at all. I'm in Pacifica and can swing up your way with a meal or whatever to give your gf a break. 100% serious, man. Just say the word.

Wormwood

Is right behind you
I am not a chef but I know a guy who grows good medicine.

You know..... for the pain and sleepy time. :teeth

Good to hear things are "moving" for you.

Glad you were not out there in the boonies by yourself. Crippled up on the side of the road out of touch is a background fear of mine on solo trips.

one huge reason i gave up on trying to go riding on my own anymore just because shit like this happens. Even if I would have had spot or something that wouldn't have helped at all due to the fact I was knocked out cold foaming from the mouth.
