The ROI for that class is bonkers. Did I hear them say that there are 52 bikes on the grid and others tried but didn't qualify?

Over 50 riders turn up for each event. They split the practices into two groups. Qualifying covers the top 30, then there is a last chance qualifying race for the last six spots on the grid. Always 36-bike race grids.

This is the first year they get two races per weekend in the SP300 class. Hope it continues that way.

my K-grade grandniece is learning French, she’s already counting up to 10 -
I remembered the Frog systemz based on 20s rather than 10s
(think Abe Lincolnz “4 score & 10” math) -
so French counting kinda makes sense til ya get up around 70,
after which you’re better off just eating Budz ham&cheez sammich

Yeah, he was full of emotion, probably frustration with himself, the bike or the tires. You could feel it in his body language on the pit bike ride.

Rough to see and hear, but, things happen when racing. He didn't get hurt, didn't hurt anyone else, and there's more racing ahead, so I can expect him to bounce back.

So much raw emotion today between Redding and Rinaldi.

We didn't get a head-to-head fight to the finish but a lot happened to keep things interesting. Rea said in an interview at Portimao there were a lot of racers on the grid he had to worry about even though the press was only asking about Redding. If Rinaldi wasn't on that list before, he is now.

Excited for tomorrow with more racers considering the SuperPole race tire for Race 2. Even more pumped for the remaining tracks where the Yamahas can be more competitive. If Bautista can keep improving the Honda, we'll have four manufacturers up front.
