I was hungry when I made the poll. :laughing

Davies and Rea have good race pace after Friday. Toprak is right on their heels. Lowes has put some very fast laps but didn't do a race simulation on used tires which he usually does on Friday. Redding picked up speed in the afternoon. He always gets there so SR45 is sure to be in the mix come race time. Rinaldi is look very strong. MvdM probably has podium pace.

The Hondas have eight test days at Aragon counting pre-season, the long break in the spring and last week's team tests. While Bautista put in a fast lap early on Friday, he a low-side then mechanical at the end of FP1. His crew could not get the bike working correctly for FP2 and he never completed a full lap at speed in the afternoon. Haslam had better luck and is within a second of Rea. The BMWs need more power.

Gerloff was tenth in FP1 but could not improve his time FP2 and dropped down the order. He's still ahead of his teammate Caricasulo as he has been all season.

2wheels good 4wheels bad
I always tell myself that im going to watch more wsbk, but then i miss the saturday race and im like "oh well, guess ill just check sunday's results instead of watching too" but this weekend im trying hard to turn that around.

I hope Redding gets it going and beats Rea straight up to pull the lead in the points. I just want Rea to not win, really.

Man behaving bikely...
Well Rinaldi did well on day one..

According to WSBK he is onboard the same machinery as in 2019: the
Ducati V4 R. that is a non factory bike anyone can buy... If I were
Team Kawasaki (and everyone prays to God I am not) I'd buy one and
paint it green...

That battle for 7th was up for grabs in race 2. Seems like Gerloff is getting better every week.

My boy Rinaldi can't figure out how to get going early.

I wish Rea would've gone to GP. I would've like to see how he fared against the best on prototypes. I don't know how he won that race today as he was giving up the usual 10-12 kph along with that giant straight.

Yeah, race 2 was fun!

It's great to see Bautista getting results on the Honda, and Chaz putting together a race AND battling for the lead.

I don't know how deep he had'ta dig, but, WOW Rea pulled off a win he shouldn't have.

scootergmc, in the couple GP's he rode, JR was in the top 10 both times - 8th in Misano, and 7th in Aragon. Not too shabby on a bike he didn't really ride other than FP's and Qualis for the race weekends.

Enjoyed both Superbike races. Davies starts are killing him. He was so close to catching Redding in race 1. Good to see Bautista put the Honda on the podium. Outside of MvdM's podium on on Saturday, Yamaha really struggled. Damn good Sunday for Johnny Rea Gerloff was able to make decent progress before falling off on Saturday and mixed it up with the veterans on Sunday. Did I miss a penalty for Sykes? Haven't read anything about Tom getting smacked for that dumb move to re-enter the track and take out Mercado; literally adding insult to injury. The FIM will probably let Sykes go and find a way to penalize Zarco. :laughing

Race 2 for SSP300 was fantastic all the way to the checkered. That class is so fun.

Ready for more next weekend.

Thanks, I recall that. I was longing for the contracted season...

I didn't see a decision either and haven't been able to find a published ruling. Maybe it's still under submission given it's SBK and all. He'll probably have to start from the back of the field or pit lane for the upcoming race. Zarco...:laughing

The ROI for that class is bonkers. Did I hear them say that there are 52 bikes on the grid and others tried but didn't qualify?
