What did you do to your dirty bike today?

Not enough. It's been sitting in the back yard all week waiting to get washed after the awesome Stoneyford ride last weekend.

Knocked some of the mud off, changed the oil, filled the tank, getting ready to ride it again :love

Thanks, we had a good time. It was beautiful up there today. Have only been there a few times, never realized how nice the view of Clearlake is from certain spots

Installed risers, unfortunately throttle cables pull pretty tight against the frame at full left lock. Not enough to bind the cable, but makes a bit of noise so I imagine overtime it's gonna wear through. Anyone know if it's okay to reroute the throttle cables behind the top triple? Right now they go under the top triple and come up in front.

Have you tried rotating the throttle body so that the cables are on the bottom? I've done this with other bikes on which I've used large risers.

I thought about this too, but I dunno if I'm just dense or what, but doesn't chat change the position of the throttle? I kept imagining which way I would twist it to go when it's upside down. Er...I guess it's the same since is circular it doesn't matter if it's upside down? Will experiment with it tomorrow.

It wont matter. I would play with the cable routing too. You just want to make sure the throttle snaps back closed when you release the grip, and that it doesnt bind anywhere as you move the bars. Hope this helps.

Washed it. Kidding. It is still coated in mud and failure. I did clean and lube the chain this weekend, at least.

Put my crf on a milk crate to install a fmf megabomb then looked at my kx and the puddle of trans fluid underneath it swore a few times went back in the house.

On my XRr I just ran the cable behind the triple in stead of in front and through.

Most throttle assemblies have a mud hole in the bottom to let dirt, dust, water, and mud out. If you flip it upside down you can guess what the hole turns into...mud funnel.

Snapped a chain adjuster bolt on the xrr! :party

Was trying to convince it to come out with heat and penetrating fluids over a week but it snapped. Luckily there is a little nub outside of the swing arm so I'm going to try to weld another bolt on there and give it another try. ARG!!
