What Are You Energetic, Young People, Doing for New Years Eve?

My Wife and I will be home with our mutts watching some dumb movie. I'm going to go to Costco to pick up the "SurF". I already have the Turf (Ribeyes) at home.

I will try to make it to 10:00PM. What are you guys doing?

Oh, and Happy New Years, to all of my Wonderful Friends on BARF.

I'm from NY so i celebrate NYNYE no matter where I am, and here in Cali that way I can be in bed by 10.

My partner said they want to stay in, eat seafood, and get a little drunk.

That sounds fine to me. Also just saw a severe winter storm alert go in effect until 2am. So that sounds SUPER fine with me.

We've been doing something similar the last few years... quite a few of my friends are from England and Scotland, and the tradition from the days of the empire was that they celebrate New Years at midnight GMT, so we do the countdown at 4 PM, toasts, have a few drinks, and then everyone goes on their way before things get too crazy, or too late.

I work at 0500 New Years Day, so my plan is to watch the ball drop NY time, then go to sleep. Living a life of adventure :laughing

We'll watch the ball drop in NY at 9, eat a couple of spoonfuls of black eyed peas, watch a Hallmark movie and go to bed.

Damn! I like the blackeyed peas part! I miss them babies, have to make my own.

i intend to stay home, cuddle my Pit Bull, and keep breathing. :laughing

Homie used to demand to go outside and visit the neighbors who set off all the local boom boom. He loved boom boom. :laughing
