Bump the thread because after talking with Wannabe, his lust for the red hat is strong.

We have several people already lined up to go and could take over a cheap motel in a Barf @ Bub adventure...

I just remembered. It's Papi who has the BARF top speed record at Bonneville, but he did it on a ZX14. I don't remember what his speed was, but I think that it was just shy of 200mph.

Actually we have the top speed record at El Mirage, x2. I missed B'ville by 1.6MPH then again in 2012 when we blew up our motor. So this year we are going after B'ville again, but we retain the Wests #1 plate in 1650CC for 4 years in row.

oh BARF top speed, :laughing, lol, got it. 200.067MPH is our top measured, with an official 199.480MPH through the lights.

Just wait until I get off my butt and install the dry nitrous kit on my bike. :teeth

It may be a while though... :teeth

Are we including any BARF members? At Bonneville I have run 225 on our 750 with bodywork, 209 without, at El Mirage 206 with bodywork and 195 without. And ran 203 on my street Busa at Mojave Magnum. :teeth

Headed to Bubs, WOS, and Cooks this year with my Aussie team mates from Black Art Racing. Running a 1630 Busa in A-G. See ya there!

Just got turned on to this thread. A fellow rider on the hunt for 200. :ride I'm working with a Gen1 Hayabusa. Are there any good BayArea shops that have experience with land speed type work? Not aiming for breaking a record, but from what I'm reading Its going to take a little more than a gear change and a pipe to clear that kind of speed.

Thanks in advance
