Just reading the title of this thread makes me thirty! I find that there is too much salt in these packages.
Nothing wrong with sodium, it’s balance of sodium vs. potassium & magnesium you want to maintain.
yeah, cramping legs and back is no fun on track as I discovered couple years ago. Many many trackdays in +110F temps. Once you start cramping up, day’s over.I actually add pink salt to my electrolyte drinks for long Muay Thai or boxing sessions. At one point we’d crank up the heater to like 80° in class.
Anytime I know I’m gonna be going hard in the paint workouts, I make sure I have enough sodium. I’ve felt the effects of not doing that and it’s no bueno.
