Yeah I wish it was simple like the Sur Ron, in a sense it is but the electrical system is much more complex than the Sur Ron. It's a computer with 2 wheels. But I can't say I wasn't expecting this when I bought this bike, if anything major happens to the bike it would be hard getting professional help to work on the bike. If I bought a Zero or Energica at least I could take it to SJ BMW or Calmoto to get it looked at.
I am pretty disappointed in the reliability of the Empulse though, I was hoping it would be as reliable as my Toyota Prius with almost 210k miles on it but it barely made it to 8000 miles.
