Yes it is two 19's same size front and back the smaller sur ron (Segway X160) has 17's and there is a supermoto wheel set that is 17 also.
And yes it does use downhill mountain bike suspension and it does make a great pit bike. A lot of people upgrade to the fox 40 or a 21" front. The suspension is alright but when pushed really hard it's not so good, at least with the stock suspension.
For a while now they have been using off the shelf MTB suspension components from FastAce, DNM, Rockshox, or RST. I guess they might be making their own now. It would be nice to have dual front disc brakes, everything on the Light Bee was engineered with lightweight in mind, but mountain bikes don't weigh 125lbs so trying to stop it at higher speeds is tough espeically when you try to make it twice as powerful as stock like mine =P
