I was there too! The weather was perfect and tons of people in all groups. My son and friend's daugter's first time there too and they are hooked.

Hi Dean! Did your son had tire warmers for his miniature super sport and your friend's daughter rode a pink bike/crashed at around noon? If so I think I had set up right across from you with my friends (the 5 of us shared: CRF450, WR250X, CBR600RR & EX300).

Your son was wicked fast, I had to constantly move over for him to pass safely:thumbup
The little girl also had a lot of heart, even though she kept on getting passed by everyone she never gave up, even after crashing. Seriously impressed and jealous that they get to start so young!

Still remember when I got my first bike when I was 19 my parents almost disowned me:thumbdown

Hi Alex,
No, that wasn't me although I did talk to those guys you described. I was waaaay in the back down the last aisle where the fast grom guys were set up. My son was on a crf70 and buddy's daughter was on an electric toy mini bike :)
My son was far from fast, being his first time even though he's over 6' tall haha.
I did see you when I arrived , you were right by the entrance to the track right? Wanted to check your wr out but had my hands full with kids, a dog, and my gear :laughing. Next time for sure though.

Yea that was me, I was busy taping up the lights when I first got there.
No worries, it definitely sounds like you had your hands full, we will catch up next time.

I remember seeing you and your buddy out there late in the day. I rode a session with you guys. I was on a blue yz in blue leathers.

Thanks for the lead on tires as well...

Were there any ninja 300's on the track?

Also, that track looks rough!

The track is actually pretty nice. There were a couple of ninja 300s and even a 600rr out that day. The time I was there prior there was even a hypermotard out there.

I want to THANK all those on the larger displacement bikes sharing the track with the smaller bikes for allowing the "faster" riders to have their fun on the track. Good sportsmanship! Look forward to seeing you guys at the next track day, and in hopes that more riders come out and enjoy the fun :ride

whens the next track day?

we have 3 pocket bikes down for upgrades getting ready for the next one. theres might be a total of 6 to 7 of us next track day if scheduling permits.

Check the Race and Track Day thread for scheduling.

Otherwise, consider being a member (anytime access), or inquire with Allen the next time he plans to be at the track, or if he knows anyone else will be there.

In the videos it looks like the asphalt has major cracks and is all broken up

naw. There are a few areas of slight un-even patches / bumps, but nothing to hinder anyone from turning some fast laps, let alone having a fun day at the track :ride
