A day late to this thread, because well yesterday. We got our second Covid shots on Saturday and sick as shit on Valentine's day. Well after 43 years of marriage it is the things you do together you remember. Life is good when you get lucky in life.

We had crab (delivered) and champagne (we got as a Christmas gift) for dinner on Saturday night. I wore sweats, but they were my fancy "evening sweats". Then we watched Deadpool (there are romantic scenes, and nothing as is big a turn-on as humor.) We took a long walk together on Sunday. He got me a really nice pair of earrings (I love earrings). It was one of our better Valentines.

My husband has mentioned in passing to a couple of different people how much he's appreciated having me around during Covid, saying he wasn't sure how lonely he'd be otherwise. I don't think he realizes how nice that is of him to say. That's probably the nicest thing he's given me all year--knowing that I'm wanted around. Well, most of time. :laughing
