RIP Toy's R Us

Not Erudite, just er
99.99% of their merch is pre-packaged landfill; Isles and isles of pure shit. I have no happy memories of Toys-R-Us, but plenty from F.A.O. Schwarz.

The cruelest part is how many independent toy stores went out of business because of toys r us, now we got little to nothing of hands-on toy purchasing.
Very similar to Borders Books in this way.

As I raised my boys, I bought endless b-day presents there. I dreaded the plastic-y smell of the place but at least I got what I needed for the moment. They were also good for getting baby supplies, like bathtubs, car carriers, even formula, etc. That spun into Babys-R-Us but I never went into one of those, having passed out of that phase...

WuTang is 4 the children
That reminds me, I should see if I can score some nice car seats at a discount. Need a couple extra so the boys can ride in the Camaro this summer.

Family ice cream runs with the t-tops off :cool

Oh god....I used to count on places like this to be a holding pen for large groups of children. I knew that on any given Saturday, that I all I had to do was steer clear of that place to avoid other people's spawn. Now there's going to be that many more wee-demons flooding the streets.

You owe me for the coffee I just spit out.:rofll
