horrible - this is my worst fear in riding - even if you think you're prepared to stop it can happen so quickly.

RIP Thomas - Condolences to his family

Godspeed Thomas :rip

Condolences to friends and family...... always feels so inadequate, but I am feeling that for you all.

Glad he got some great juice in his life racing and riding. Always precious moments to me.

Thomas was a skilled rider and very cool person. I remember watching him wiggle his huge 800 lb couch of a bike around the gate on Easter Sunday one morning. People on much smaller bikes wouldn't even try and he made it look easy.

I talked to him at breakfast a bunch on the ride. He was genuinely curious about people, a great listener and had great stories as well. I remember him as someone who smiled a lot.

Sigh...

This is perfect. Moose was a rad guy and every time I saw him we'd talk a bunch. I didn't know him super-well, but I enjoyed seeing him every time.

Moose's smile was the most contagious thing in the world. He was always a high note in my day when I saw him.
The last time we crossed paths was during a Lemons race at Sears Point. I was not having the best time dealing with customers who managed to knock 2 corners off my car, but chatting with Moose changed my whole day.
He really was a hell of a rider, too. He could make that airhead do anything he wanted.
He will be missed.

The number of drivers ignoring the rules of the road isn't killing them, its killing us. Sonoma roads are getting treacherous when it comes to U and L turn over double yellow lines.

RIP and ride the skys.

Fuck. That's two (females) in their early twenties that have taken the life of another in just a few days. Very different circumstances, obviously, but sad nonetheless.

Very curious to know if a cell phone/other distraction played a part in this case.

RIP.

Left turns over double yellows aren't illegal.

Reading about him from these posts and the AFm forum on this site saddens me. He seemed like a great person and wealth of knowledge. Sad I never crossed paths with him.

Tragic for all, another loss at the hands of a young driver.
Moose, always a good word for anyone. Huge smile warm embrace. just another airhead guy, "simple by choice."

What a huge loss to the community. Heartfelt condolences to family and friends.

RIP Moose
... long may you run
