Noob!
So I rode down to work yesterday to check on my car (lucky enough to be able to store it there). I too, 280 cuz its nicer. As I was poking around the car my gaze turned to my bike, as I it often does. I noticed the rear looked weird. A closer look revealed little bits of rubber stuck to the tire center line. something I'd expect if I'd skidded or peeled out.
The tire is near done anyway, but it seemed to have worn notably on that run. Checked my pressure at a gas station with a borrowed gause and it looks like mine is bad and I was 4 psi high in both tires 39 front 46 rear. Could high pressure have caused the tire to heat u and wear like that? I rode el Camino home and didn't notice further wear but that could be the slower speeds, I usually cruise 75 - 80 on the highway.
