Ditto all above. Mine was at the front door today. :thumbup

Pity they didn't read my comments where I asked them to ship to where I bought the rear.... So I can have the shop put both on without my having to drag it over there... :rolleyes

MV BMW is doing me a deal - they're putting on both tires, swapping the Galfer brake pads, and installing my Kisan headlight modulator.... :teeth :party

Nice! sounds like your getting the works done to the bike. Enjoy the summer. I have about 1,000 miles to go until I spoon on my new tires.

UPDATE -

Ok, it's been almost five months with these Pirelli Angel GTs - and I've got a problem.

The front tire is flat for about an inch at the center, with two angled sections at the sides, then it goes into the rounded to the sidewalls. The rear tire has about a 3" flat spot and goes directly to the round/sidewalls.

On uneven pavement, it's very noticeable as the front tire hunts for traction and skitters around. Not a good feeling. Approx 1,500 miles.

Anybody else having this issue? Seriously considering going back to the PR3s for good.

That's crazy, must have been one hell of a panic stop to do that. Have any pictures? Only have 300 miles on my set.

thats why I like mich PR2/3 better.

they resist squaring off the longest and are less affected when it does. at least I have a few curves in my way home.....

I've gone through two sets of Angels on my SV. Can't say I've experienced any strange wear like that.

I had angels on my cbr600 and loved 'em. I'd never put a set on my bmw though. From what I've seen heavier bikes do much better with sport-touring, rather than sport, tires.

gone for now
I have more than 6k on Angel GTs on my SV1000 and while they're well worn they aren't quite at the bars yet.
