Corey, I think BW is paving in the summer for sure this time…and I agree…backwards is one of the funnest configurations too!

I completely agree . BW backwards is a great configuration. Runway 16 was pretty amazing on a 1000 and some of the corners really opened up.

We can go into the esses, and all the way to the Mazda Star Turn, include Phil Hill, before heading into Riverside. This will slow the faster guys down that don't like using their brakes into Riverside. No bus Stop and into Lost Hills.

That config got the axe by the safety commitee because of the danger of the posistion of the turn worker tower at Phill Hill (I thought it was called Lost Hill). I beleive the people who had input into the "that would suck" decision were Stanton, Hill, Tigert and others....so I trust them.

From three years shooting AFM & trackdays @ Bwillow... I've seen more people nearly hit flag stations in the normal direction vs running it backwards. :laughing

Well there are 22 other configurations of Buttonwillow maybe we should look into seeing what other options are. I have raised multiple configurations on that track in a car but not on a motorcycle. Don't let this die out, somebody investigate this.

Here we go... I would be more than happy to volunteer to ride alternate configurations and give my input. Come on let's make this happen.

For now there are no alternate configurations for TH and Sonoma, so let's see what we have at BW.

The rumors are true. We will close on 7-5-14 afternoon and open again on the morning of 7-19-14.

I am still working out the details but we will repave at least 70% but probably the entire 4.48 miles with all the options. Much pavement when you include everything.
