NFL 2020

The 2019 season just ended with a nail-bitter of a Super Bowl. Halfway through the 4th quarter, most football fans thought it was over. The stout 9ers defense was the best all season and was certain to keep the Chiefs in check. However, Mahomes and the Olympic track team with football pads had other plans. KC edged the local favorite, the San Francisco 49ers.

Going into the 2020 season there are many many unanswered questions.

What does SF need to do to get over the hump (I suspect one or two small changes is all they need and they will be back just as strong)?

How bout KC, can that offense keep up the video game like play, and can their defense continue to improve?

What will happen with the Raiders, will Carr continue as their QB? Will Chucky turn things around in LV?

Can the Giants get back into the mix?

Can the Cowboys please go away!!!!!

What about my Broncos? 2019 ended on a good note, but has one of the greatest QBs of all time turned horrible GM finally found the QB he's been looking for since Manning retired?

Where will Brady, Breese, and Rivers end up...retired, another team, or back where they ended their 2019 campaign?

Who will be the best in the 2020 draft? Who will be the bust?

Niners: I dont see that they can do much except maybe get a faster player in the defensive backfield and settle on the WR situation (I am fine with Emanuel Sanders but I know he is technically gettin old). They are a great team as they are. The only QBs better than Garopallo (they have an out in April on contract) are NOT available.. There are plenty equal or less his quality but why bother?

I hope they can keep an even keel after losing. They are a great, entertaining team that delivered to their fans and the nation all year.

I guess KC defense can get better but they did pretty well, but evolved thru the season.

I think Chucky is a bust. His brand of football and personnel management seems obsolete. The successes Raiders had weren't because of Chucky but of the players themselves, it seems.

I want a divorce between Cowboys and whoever keeps giving them so many prime-time games. Beats me how that happens. #sosickofCowboys (fake but you know).

Since I hate Elway for good, no idea about the Broncos but they show some promise.

I can't tell what Brady is going to do. VEry foolish to leave Patriots because he will get scrunched anywhere else that would have an opening for him. I dunno what to do about Rivers. Maybe he should go to Raiders and stay relatively close to home. Breese will play for Saints again.

I think our local Raider fans should just give up on that owner, that management, once and for all. Look how tough Niner defense is! Al would have liked Bosa and his Bunker Buster Boys. I know there is all the emotion, but what are you even rooting for anymore? Getting rid of Mack was the most un-Raider thing I could imagine doing and its been all downhill since.

I'm very curious if the NFL loses their hard on for making shit calls against the Raiders now that they moved to LV. Sorta doubt it, but one can hope.

Time for the Niners to boot Richard Sherman. He's lost a step (or two) & besides a few decent plays here & there, he's aged & needs to retire. They need more new awesome players in the Secondary. I miss Ronny Lott, Eric Wright & Co from back in the day.

Sanders did good, came in & started making plays immediately. He just needs an equal on the other side. If they had two great WR'ers they'd be unstoppable.

I don't know what to say about Jimmy G. He's late a lot (even w/the quick release) & way off target frequently. Maybe in his second full year, he'll get better but I'm skeptical. He's got a damn good line blocking already.

Don't care about Chucky anymore but I'm going to miss the Raiders. ALCO should demolish that stadium & build a new couple for football & baseball. We got the patronage if the teams good enough...?

Someone suggested that Uncle Sherm could move to FS and still contribute. I have to say I agree with that. He switched from wideout to corner in college. He can move to FS and do well. He’s smart enough to trick qb into throwing it where/wnen they shouldn’t.

un-fuknbelievable, hey guys we got a 10 point lead with 6 mins left....

lets go ahead and throw the ball on 2nd down and go 3 and out and waste 40 some seconds for our time of possession and give the ball right back to mahomes.......... twice........

The Cowgirls have the largest fanbase in pro ball. It is not a shady producer. It won't be going away.

XFL seems interesting.

The spin offs always bring cool ideas on rule changes.
Cool uniform ideas and new tech ideas.

niners should get greg olson and have the two headed monster tight ends and work with their young receivers who have a ton of potential. id like to see them dump dee ford and pick up one of the stud free agent safetys like harris or simmons.

I watched half of the inaugural game Saturday. It wasnt horrible. I like the idea of the extra point being 1-2 or 3 based on distance

So, there is a bunch of buzz right now that suggest Tom Brady being traded to the Pats for Dak Prescot and a draft pick exchange.

The question becomes if this deal happens and Tom Brady Plays for Dallas, will it finally decide universally what the most hated Team in NFL History is?

:laughing

how can get be traded if hes a free agent?

also xfl i think will make a great market if they had more teams in areas that dont have teams. like portland, they should have a vegas team to make up some of that money spent over the original budget there for the raiders. maybe oklahoma city, i dunno.

My understanding is that he is an RFA right now, so other teams could not sign him without NE being in on the deal.

Now, the problem for the XFL becomes where they will play in the middle of Winter and Frozen ass spring? Do they try and get into College Ball Parks? There is a cost associated with trying to play in Baseball stadiums retrofitted for Football. They can't afford their own ball parks. I don't know about all the teams, but I know the New York Guardians are playing in the NY Giants Ball Park. I think the Dallas Team is playing in Arlington at Jerry Jones ball park, but I'm not sure.
