Hello,
I purchased a gs500f a few months ago, but i finally got all my gear, completed the MSF, and started riding recently.

I don't really know any other riders, but riding is very fun!

Good choice in bikes, and great that you have taken care of getting your gear. Learn the acronym ATGATT, which means to wear "all the gear, all the time".

Oh, and since you've announced that you are a girl, expect a lot of :leghump:leghump:leghump:leghump:leghump

And VERY IMPORTANT, don't forget to post pics ASAP. :thumbup

Wow, only 5 posts in this thread and she even announced the fact that she was a girl. People are slacking on the :leghump oh well. I'm sure once they catch the scent it'll be like blood in the water.

that's because it's the 3 day weekend. Even leghumpers need a break to go out and ride. Wait til SirFonners and the usual suspects come back online :p

don't bother with botox, try clinique instead. Clear up the skin in a heartbeat. Well, ok, in a coupla days.

is it a new helmet? 'Cause the pads, 'specially the cheek pads, will compress and it won't seem too tight after a while...

I guess I have a little time for it...
the thing is i just find out that i have a test this thurs...so not sure. I may not be able to spend much time...but i'll try to make it there...hopefully...not on a bike though, it's raining today...i'm glad i was late today to school and didn't ride...
on the serious side, we should all stand out in the rain to protest against it...

I just joined recently, and now that you've done the MSF course, I can't recommend highly enough the Zoom Zoom Roadriding 2.0 class. I just did it this past Saturday, and the difference in my confidence between when I left in the morning, and got home at night was staggering. Cheers!

you were staggering after the class??? wtf??? :shocker what did they do to you in the class? :p


i keeed, of course, but my misreading of your comment reminded me of when I teach the racing schools (auto racing) the new students always are wiped out after one day. In fact we had to move from a weekend school to just a one-day format because most students were too wiped to continue a second day :p
