This track is really cool but I'm always thrilled and slightly terrified by that long downhill braking zone before the hard right under the bridge. Spectacular to watch but ugly if it goes wrong. Hoping the Yamahas have something to get excited about besides Friday practice times.

Yeah that's my bad for putting zarco in for nakagami in the poll. Zarco is replacing him for the final 3 races (Australia, Malaysia & Valencia)

You will note as in other threads that I have mention that Yamaha's biggest problem is Marc Marquez. They would lose to Ducati on the h.p. tracks, but they are very competitive machines. They just don't have someone that can beat MM consistantly. Neither does anyone else, including Honda.

I’m not a big fan of this track. Too much stop/go, stop/go. It’s one of my least favorite on the calendar.

i agree. they should hold the japanese gp at suzuka or fuji. only reason its at twin ring motegi is because if its not, honda will throw a bitch fit

some, but prob not enough to get the required FIM safety racing. GP requires A or below. WSBK requires B or below. WEC requires C or below. id bet Suzuka is still B or C.

The Casio Triangle Chicane where Kato crashed which is just before the final turn was adjusted and they added a second chicane.
