Rins versus Vinales: Why did you stay on track if you didn't have the brakes and you knew it?

This was my question as well. MV said he was adjusting them the whole time until there was nothing left to adjust. I get putting around to get some points but clearly he didn't slow enough to change the outcome. To me he should have pitted and told Yamaha the brakes are done. Save him, the bike, possibly other riders and not cause another red flag. Not sure what his crew would have said to him if he parked it but these guys are the best in the world, they should be trusted to make that call when the other 3 yamahas already had the same issues the week before and changed to Brembo's new cooled calipers. It was a known issue and to me should have been dealt with better.

I remember when Lawson lost his brakes at Laguna when the retaining pins were left out. He had to jump off at around 150 into a dirt embankment in turn 1. No air fences back then. The tech responsible was in tears
