Yeah... interesting commentary about him trying to get the bike to turn.

Surprised at Dovi and Petrux's pace. Solid.

Mav rocked the day for sure. Continuing Map's declaration of practice wins. :laughing

Good to see Miller doing well too.

Yup, crazy crash for sure.
Wind so strong it blew him offline and into the grass.

Did y’all see Oliveira’s crash on the front straight? Yikes!

For sure... a lot of tumbling at speed. He was damn lucky to get up.

I think the riders made the right call.

Lots of action coming today.

Bummer for Maverick. He sure gave it a go.

Fucking MM is so good even when he is not the fastest he shows well.

5 on the trot as the boys would say.

Happy for Miller to be in the position to assume the podium spot in his home race.

Entertaining race for me. More images

Entertaining? Bud, he had a faster bike and just sat behind Vinales for lap after lap after lap. There was nothing entertaining about it. To Rossi's credit, when he was faster, he would still battle back and forth. MM just sat there for the entire race, motored past it on the straight, and threw down a single lap. Never gave Vinales any real time to observe his riding.

Brutally efficient? Absolutely. It was 100% the best winning strategy.. but it made for some absolutely garbage quality racing, if you could even call it that.

First race I tune in to watch in a long time... Should have have known better than to waste my time on another MM bore-fest.

Zoinks!!!!
That Yamaha can carry some serious corner speed. Viñales closed like 3 bike lengths to the apex before that high side.

I was more entertained by the battle for 4th than the battle for the lead.

I think MM only had a faster bike on the straight. He mentioned Mav being faster in the post race presser. He also said he had to really push to keep him in sight for the first 5 laps when 12 hit the lead.

We got to see Rossi lead for a bit.
We got to see Mav go all in for the win.
We got to see Miller on the podium and be a really happy Aussie camper.
We got to see two Ape's battle for the podium..!!! Fuck me..! :wow

I was entertained. Yes indeed.
I suppose I am such a big fan of GP racing that I am easily entertained. Lucky me. :teeth

Yamaha got to get more speed and solve their traction issues.
Fact is they are taking more risk to go fast.
