We were up there with a bunch od dudes, all over the no parking area.
Local dude pointed out we were in the no parking zone.

“No Parking” means leaving your vehicle. If the key is in the ignition, you are only “standing”. That is how the law read, last time I looked. Back in the day. Prolly changed.

Who you calling :afm199

Heads up! Mines road (from Livermore) is hella dirty after recent rains, marker 9 is basically a pile of gravel now. Be careful and take it easy!

At least from alum rock entrance up to the top, I didn’t see any piles of gravel or water crossings. I did notice some sections of pavement were a bit rough where they cut out whole patches to refill

Straight roads are evil
The Junction is reopen, with new owners. For now it's a limited menu (hamburger / cheeseburger / drinks), they should be expanding soon.

Mines: More gravel than usual, be careful.
San Antonio Valley / Mt. Hamilton: No problems.
Del Puerto Cyn: Did not ride, but talked to some who did, they didn't report anything unusual.

still have yet to make a mines rd trip. I think I'll wait until spring since it seems to be a bit more treacherous in the winter months

Outside the total f#$@!ng idiots in cars the road is not bad. Couple spots are dusty and it looks like mile 9 got cleaned up a bit or the report earlier was way exaggerated

Mines and Mt. Hamilton were great today. No issue at the mile 9 marker, though you can see where something was swept up. The usual water crossings were a little wet but not deep and not growing algae. Great day to be out.

I got a short ride halfway up the Ham side, first time on the Alta Motard.
Whoa. Very turny thing. Different than any other bike I have ridden.

Edit... there was a gaggle o groms going up. Group o Groms? Gathering of Grommits? Funny stuff.
