I think that's Richard Lav. Why, what'd he do?

Was chatting asking how does he like the RT on these tight curves. Then he suddenly starts saying how he would smoke all of us on these roads saying how he knows these roads as he has been riding them for 10 years. WTF. So we just smiled and said ok, see you at the top .... :twofinger
Went faster than CB? :teeth
In his head ...
Does he normally ride wearing pretty minimal gear?

I believe he blew by me and some cyclist. The cyclist weren't too happy about it and give him and I the finger :laughing
Yes
Man, my joke is flying over a lot of heads (the on-your-neck kind, not the lavatory kind).
I am not in the mix here. What is the joke?
Does he play music loudly from said RT?

No idea .. it was parked :laughing

The road surface is a bit crusty and I saw evidence of camouflage gravel in the road, not bad from Livermore the SJ, woulda been more cautious other way round. Junction was closed. The real road hazard I saw today were cow pies on the back side Hamilton, don't wanna hit one of them bad boys.

The idiot in the semi truck was the real road hazard (see pics in bike location thread).

Saw 11 bikes including you!

Thinking about doing Hamilton/Mines/Del Puerto Canyon along with Redwood/Palomares/Calaveras this Sunday. Anybody ride these recently?

Curious how busy they are with lockdown traffic heading to hiking spots.

Whammy drove out there and there were more cars than bikes. Junction is open, limited food choices . Wear your Maaaax.

I weekend ride mines to the junction then lick and back. It has nearly gotten back to normal. Road conditions are great. Don't fall down.:rolleyes

Can't comment about Mines, Redwood has a lot of cars parking near the entrance to Redwood Park, and along the North end. More cars than normal on the road. Polomares is like usual. Light traffic, maybe a few more bicycles.

Did mines and hamilton last week. Roads were good, observatory is closed.
Some cyclists, planning on riding it again today if Ii can get out of the house.

Make sure to bring a mask so you can support the Junction and get a drink or something.

I’ve done a few frontside rides on more challenging bikes lately.

The other week (surprised it didn’t blow up):

I have yet to take the Grom up Mt Hamilton..... tho' I really do want to. The thought crosses my mind, then I say forget it and just stick to Sierra/Felter and Calaveras :laughing

I like how you parked in front of the no parking sign =P

I mean, I figured it's there to prevent people from clogging up the driveway when the top is open. Right now that's not really a concern... :cool

I have to admit, it did better than I expected. Passing is kind of a pain tho. LMK if you want to go sometime :ride

Recently...
We were up there with a bunch od dudes, all over the no parking area.
Local dude pointed out we were in the no parking zone.

“No Parking” means leaving your vehicle. If the key is in the ignition, you are only “standing”. That is how the law read, last time I looked. Back in the day. Prolly changed.
