Sad he died, but he did so because of ignorance. The car does in fact have manual door latches. They are located on the floor near the base of the seat.

Not the first time I've heard about this. Not uncommon to have some guy posting to the Corvette Forum from his phone, 'locked' in their car in the garage.

This. Might just save your life someday.

Or at the very least, it'll keep someone from wasting their time and more importantly, my time because they don't know how to pair their new phone to the car's Bluetooth because the salesman did it for them the first time.

Seen a few older 90's bmw with smashed windows because someone panicked after getting locked inside by the person who left with key fob

Srsly. Heat didn't kill this guy, stupidity did. (or possibly a "senior moment" that extended for longer than a moment, maybe a moment that kept looping)

I liked the two women fighting in the IN Walmart story better. One of the women's kids went agro as well. I don't know whether we were always this violent as a culture/society, or we're more aware of it (like the police brutality stuff that seems to occur everyday now) because of the proliferation of mobile phones, but it's just crazy.

My only question is if he was too stupid to figure out how to open the door, was he smart enough to even drive?

Says he tried tools to pry the vehicle open yet didn't think to try to break the window? Hit near the corners of the window and it will shatter
