NOPE...KTM pull the RC8 off the line up because it was to much for the average rider and it was no where near a WSBK let alone MOTOGP

Whereas the average rider can easily ride to the limits of a Duke 1290?

I really don't understand KTM logic.

Yeah when I used to sell KTMs, road testing a 1290 Super Duke was insane. But selling KTM side by side with Ducati, I don't understand their ceo's stance on their sport bikes being too unsafe. Ducati V4 has literally more hp than any of my cars, but no, RC8 bad

Times have a changed. I think they could take their MotoGP know how and make a strong WSBK bike contender if they were so inclined. I just wish they were inclined.
