someone DID walk in and pay the entire costs up front. Zphreak is going to cash out the paypal donations and give them to Clarence, who paid for everything (bikes, gift certificates)
It was exciting time, It all came together perfectly. Happy to be a small part of it all.
Getting back to business as usual.
Half expecting hordes of bikes in the parkinglot. IHeartPasta's Vstorm with a new rear tire was only one :teeth
Wusses, a little rain and freezing temperatures kept you all from riding

NOAA weather had high wind advisory with gusts to 50 mph in the Delta area. The route we had taken. Rain wasn't too bad and wasn't any wind WTH. Going over the metal grate on a bridge was fun. Rough roads, cold and wet. but the worse part was having to take a leak real bad :laughing
Actually if you weren't there, you were busy elsewhere. Take back any wuss remark if you braved Christmas shopping the last day before Christmas. :wtf That took courage above and beyond. :laughing

Ijust talked with the Mom yesterday- she called to update me on the kids and how much fun they are having. I'll see what I can do about getting pics of them out in the dirt.
She also says they will be joining the BARF to learn more in the Dirt Riding section and wanted me to extend another huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who made it possible. she says the boys are just really beginning to trust and believe that these bikes belong to them, for keeps. says they are keeping them very safe and still is in awe of how quickly things came together. I'm hoping to stay in touch with her, she seems like a fantastic mom with great kids and its always fun to make new friends!

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks again! Donations are still being received and will be passed to Clarence who fronted the money to purchase of the bikes. Sorry I haven't updated the list but it's Christmas and I've had my family things to do. If you donated and aren't on the list, send me a PM and I'll update the list.
