CBS News is reporting that a "person of interest" has been identified:
A law enforcement source told CBS News at least one person of interest has been identified in connection to the recreational vehicle that exploded on Christmas morning, rocking downtown Nashville. Multiple sources confirm that Anthony Quinn Warner, a Nashville area resident, had a similar make and model recreational vehicle as the one in photos released to the public.

Warner was described as a 63-year-old White man. Federal agents are at the address listed to Warner.

A law enforcement source told CBS News at least one person of interest has been identified in connection to the Christmas morning explosion in Nashville. The person is connected to the recreational vehicle that exploded.

...

There is video of the RV in downtown Nashville. Investigators have a Google Maps photo of the address of the person of interest that shows a similar looking camper in the yard. Google Maps says the picture was taken in May 2019.
This appears to be that "similar looking camper":

Here's a story from the Nashville Tennessean about the six police officers who went door-to-door to evacuate nearby residents:

Six officers called 'heroes' for saving lives before Nashville explosion on Christmas morninghttps://www.tennessean.com/story/ne...ers-saved-lives-before-rv-blew-up/4046460001/

Six Nashville officers ran into danger on Friday morning as they helped evacuate residents before a large explosion rocked downtown.

MNPD named the officers in a news release late Friday evening. They range from new recruits to longtime department leaders.

They are:

  • Officer Brenna Hosey, a 4-year veteran;
  • Officer James Luellen, a 3-year veteran;
  • Officer Michael Sipos, a 16-month veteran;
  • Officer Amanda Topping, a 21-month veteran;
  • Officer James Wells, also a 21-month veteran and
  • Sergeant Timothy Miller, who has been with the department for 11 years.

Poor bastard. They’ll dirty him up just like Richard Jewell and then if they are wrong they will never retract anything.
This jumping to report anything is disgraceful.
If he is dead, does he reek of being a patsy like some of these other “terrorists”?

No shit. there's probably 100 "similar" RV's within a 25 mile radius of Nashville. It's the freakin' south, everybody over the age of 40 has an RV and a ski boat.

Ya think maybe the ATF/FBI know how common it is and are going on a recovered VIN (stamped in several places on all vehicles these days) or even a license plate?

These people aren't stupid. they don't release information unless they're sure it will benefit them.

If this person of interest isn't actually that interesting, they've released fairly clear images of a visual match for the vehicle used in the bombing.

If that was the case they would have said so, as they did with the first WTC bombing and Oklahoma city, wouldn't you think?

You are correct. They aren’t that stupid. But they know that the public is stupid and can be convinced of just about anything. If that hasn’tbeen illustrated enough this past year then those who are so easily duped are the stupid ones.

Even if they used a license plate or VIN plate, why supply all that info to the public so fast? There used to be a “need to know” component to law enforcement and that was the case especially with federal and terrorist related stuff.
I am not ready to scream conspiracy but a guy on another forum who calls out everything as a conspiracy said weeks ago that there would be a mass shooting or similar media blast event before the year’s end. Unfortunately, he has been right before.

The dude is most likely dead. My guess is he was high on QAnon and decided to go Y’all Queda and blew himself up in the RV.

There are pics on the internet of the dude’s RV in his yard plus surveillance pics. Not the same motorhome.

I'm guessing some red neck Proud Boys MAGA hat wearing hick that lives outside of Nashville built a bomb and planted it in his mom and dads RV and drove it to the "city".

Possibly true... We could also easily eliminate other groups of people as suspects...

The way we know its NOT some SJW/antifa Coolaid haired Soy Boy skinny jean wearing cuck that lives in their moms basement is that not one of them would have even considered warning people to evacuate, let alone have the technical or planning skills to pull it off. Their "protest" is limited to situations with large groups of other angry, like minded pencil armed sexually frustrated subordinates.

:teeth :laughing

I'll just wait to see what they find. :party

Windows match, stripes match, a/c and vents on top match. The surveillance pic isn't clear enough to make out "Chateau" but the shape of the logo with the extended cross on the "t" match.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I've already had this talk with the secret service, so here goes: you've basically described my politics, and I'm capable of building a device that can do everything that made this attack possible. I don't know anything about triggering explosives, but as long as the detonator is just a matter of a certain signal at a certain voltage, I'm sure I could figure it out.

Not that I would. I abhor violence.

Only very stupid people assume their enemy is stupid.

I stand corrected. But other than the tech part, you dont seem to dispute my tongue in cheek post.

:laughing

Edit - well, the secret service could haved saved themselves some time by calling me first. I unknowingly and clearly eliminated you as a suspect. I dont have any enemies, but one possibility is that they actually are stupid, you are right about assuming it though!

It seems to me that the bomber made a substantial effort to prevent deaths. There was the recorded message, of course. But my guess is that he (presuming gender here) also fired the gunshots that prompted 911 calls. It wasn't one anonymous call. One was from a woman who owns a restaurant across the street and has an apartment in the same building.

Those reports of gunfire brought the police. I've seen the opinion that drawing the police in was an attempt to kill them. I don't think so. The police who arrived did exactly what one would hope and expect. They took the recorded threat seriously, and evacuated the neighborhood to keep the residents safe. Three officers were injured, but apparently not seriously.

Of course there's the reported, er, human tissue. So someone didn't make it, presumably someone inside the motorhome, possibly the bomber himself.
