The reason this thread seems dead is because lots of people are subscribed to it so they get a notification when someone posts in an emergency. What you're doing right now is the equivalent of calling 911 to complain about not calling 911 when you needed it.

Don't respond because none of us want another message from this thread, just go start another thread to incoherently babble on about whatever it is your talking about, and save this thread for the next time you're actually in trouble. :thumbup

Not all Bay Area riders are members of teh BARFs, so it's possible or likely that none of your buddies are members. And sometimes even BARFers forget that the RSAs exist (including yours truly).

Need jump, maybe tow?

I'm stuck in Berkeley on Channing just west of Telegraph, bike won't turn over but i don't have an Allen key to get under the seat to even try jumping it at the moment. Bike is a grey R6, any help is appreciated.

OK, folks, text messages have gone out to volunteers, and I'm not hearing back. Sunday evenings are notoriously bad for getting help to someone.
Is anyone able to get Tyler from Berkeley to Vallejo this evening? He doesn't have tow coverage.
Me being out in Stockton, and broken, would make it extremely difficult for me to even try to get this one- I have no way physically to load a bike.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Glad to hear it got handled! I was heading back from Mendo with a fully loaded truck so wouldn't have been able to help with anything but moral support and/or beer/soda/water. :teeth

OTOH, Connie, I did not receive a text about this specific issue. Can you check that I'm still on the list?

Anyone in the Fremont / Pleasanton area with a truck who can help me out? Bike just stalled on me and im stuck im the Sunol Canyon heading out to Pleasanton. Need help getting thw bike back to Union City. Thanks in advance

Sorry to be a pain. I unfortunately broke down again in the same bike as last week. Anyone who might be in the San Leandro area available to get me back to Union City? Or maybe anyone with a hitch rack they can sell or loan me?im om 880 half a mile south of marina exit in san leandro

Missing Benders
Needing a tow from Dogpatch to Treasure Island

My bike won't start due to an unknown electrical issue. I'd like to get it to Moto guild to work on it, get it solved. I called Steve the moto tow guy, he's out of town. Also left a message with CC rider....

note:
This is not an emergency I'm not stranded, I just need a tow to TI.
Please let me know if anyone has a truck and tie downs.
