Six of my bones have seen the light of day...

Tib/fib, femur, radius, unla, proximal phalange.

Several more bones broken that didn't poke out.

If you're going to be dumb you better be tough.

^ none? What are you 5?

Keeding, I cannot recommend broken bones to anyone.

I think it is quite a feat to have no broken bones.

It's certainly not for a lack of trying. Just always got lucky, I guess.

Hell, I made it to 40 without my wisdom teeth being pulled too which, I'm told, is a feat in and of itself. :laughing

14 August 2014, knocked down on N880 in Fremont, fractured three ribs under the left scapula. Not broken - one concussion, soft tissue damage to left inside of ankle, bruising to left knee. Don't remember anything else. :teeth

10 October 2020, 1 fractured fibula, outside of right ankle. Not broken - bruising to left knee and outside edge of right hip.

Yay for good gear & good luck. :party :teeth

Whatever that means
^ you gotta tell the story now.

No, I didn't read the whole poll question, so I fucked up and answered incorrectly. I had a good chunk of my front teeth broken off and fractured from getting hit by a car on my bicycle. not moto... :(

on moto i separated my shoulder but didn't break anything.

Just 1, almost 20 years ago. :afm199

Second day on any motorcycle, practicing shifting and turning in a very small parking lot, I fixated on one of those concrete bars at the head of a parking space while in the middle of turning around, drove straight into it, and fell over to the left. =>doink!<= And I was wearing a poser jacket with no padding/armor...

Took a lot of the impact on my left shoulder and broke the collarbone. But I didn't realize it, and was horrified that I had dropped my friend's bike, so I quickly levered it up and went back to riding in circles. Until the third lap or so, when I realized my left arm wasn't working right anymore...

1981: Left femur shattered into 30 pieces, kneecap broken into 5 pieces, lost finger. Was in wheelchair for 3 months. Could not walk normally for a year. But can still walk, so that's good.

1997: Right collar bone broken (still broken - never healed).

That's all so far.

Half Fast at best......
I was just reading Connie's post, and I got the chills when I read 'sneeze'.

Man who would thot sneezing would hurt the most.

in 2015 while returning from a group ride to Fortuna/Hwy 36 I got hit in Santa Rosa. 7 breaks in 3 ribs. :wtf

Over the course of the next 2 months the ribs got worse, not better. I was sneezing a LOT. The ribs did not heal and required surgery to plate them. 2 sets of Titanium plates and 26 screws. 4 days in the hospital with a morphine pump directly to the surgical area and I knew exact the moment it ran dry! Not fun at all.

Unfortunately I was reminded of this surgery when I had xrays on Saturday 12/12 after low speed high side Friday, 12/11. I saw the plates and screws in the new xrays.

This time.........just broke the collar bone in 2 places. The bruising has been horrendous. I'm finding that the older I get, the slower the healing is. :afm199 I actually thought of selling the bikes after this one. Head hit the pavement HARD and I truly do not remember the impact or some of the aftermath........or riding the darned thing home!

Sneezing with 2 breaks in the collar bone is no fun BUTT does not compare to sneezing with 7 breaks in one side of your rib cage!
