Hawthorne Rally 2010 Photo Thread

I hit 162, on a bike that only goes 152:wow...due to the 25-30 mph tail winds we had coming in...that was the coolest feeling in the world. I felt like i was floating for about 5 minutes.
Remember that sand storm that was off to the right of Hawthorne though? It looked like we were riding full speed into the apolcalypse.

Being in "close proximity" I can testify that Dani was "HAULIN THE MAIL!" :teeth

if you would get your ass to Hawthorne you would see how much better your bike runs in the higher altitude. :teeth

You gain like 2 octane on your fuel and you run a bit leaner. I easily get 10mph more than spec says on my bike up here.

I don't recall seeing your ass last Labor Day on the run to GARDNERVILLE, NEVADA, to hang with Dale & Karen.

Dale, I didn't notice any difference in performance when I was up there last year. Then again, a literbike really doesn't care. :laughing
