the route did not take that long to plan actually..i determined which parks and monuments i wanted to see and what made sense as far as 'loops' went...i realised that the beginning days and ending days would be 'more miles' than the 'in betwixt' days...

the gixxers had no problems whatsoever.. i was diligent in cleaning and lubing the chains as well as checking air pressure. the BF has created a monster in that regard..:laughing

i have taken the redcoat ( gixxer ) to canada and have 12000 + on it from that trip as well as others, so find it comfortable for me...my friend had a bit of difficulty in the beginning as she was not used to it, but she became acclimated as we carried on...

as soon as i figure out how to do the map thing, i shall post the route up..we did stray from the intended route twice...but all in all, the roads were pretty awesome...especially the twisty bits and SR 12..
