where do you get them?

i'm a t-shirt and jeans/shorts kind of uniform guy, at work as well.

finding t-shirts that don't suck isn't as easy as it should be. I ordered some from duluth trading about a year ago. at the time they were on sale for ~$10 and i was unsure of sizing so didn't order that many, hoping the sale would repeat eventually. it hasn't :sad and they're all 1 size too big which isn't that surprising for a company that apparently caters to people that prefer plaid?

they are as nice as advertised i just don't want to pay $20+ for a single shirt. am i unrealistic?

the last time i seriously considered a $20 t-shirt was when i wanted to be an unique like everyone else and get a harley and an ed hardy shirt from costco... luckily i bought neither

anyway, where else has good shirts? i have a long torso so usually what's in the store doesn't hang properly on me. maybe it's the spare tire around my midriff?

Whatever that means
There was a Gas station in hayward that was selling them. I was so bewildered when i went it and saw them behind the counter taking up the majority of the shelf space. Packs and packs of generic white T Shirts.
However the guy in front of me was buying some and i saw there were two other people that had them as well. I dunno if they are magic or what but they were selling. shows what the fuck i know.

Gosh, because I've been worried about our effect on the environment for a long time - so I've been paying way more for my t-shirts for years, because they are made with organic cotton and/or re-cycled polyesters:

This 100% recycled long-sleeved T-shirt is made with 4.8 plastic bottles and 0.3 pounds of cotton scrap, using 96% less water and creating 45% less CO2 than a conventional cotton T-shirt. Fair Trade Certified sewn.

Any of the cheaper shirts are made from un-sustainably grown and harvested cotton. Which has lead in a number of areas to a significant lowering of the water table. For instance in likely the worse case, the Aral Sea Region (Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan):

You mean, the disappeared sea.

The sea which, I swear I remember was there in the older maps... but recently if I looked on the googles it's gone... :rofl : | :wow

That said, "interesting facts"

I'm not lying. I am a tshirt purist. I have bought so many and thrown away so many more. I am so particular in how they fit, drape, sleeve length, material...

My favorite

I always have problems with t-shirts too. Hate anything with fifteen ounces of some stupid plastic graphic on it.

Those look pretty good Matt.

I used to only wear Tommy Hilfiger tshirts. They changed them years ago and I hate how they fit now however I still have a stash of the good stuff that’s over a decade old.
I like thinner material like Under Armour loose fit but I’ve practically given up on tee shirts and mostly wear short sleeve button up stuff nowadays.

Dickies T-Shirts are the best. I used to get them at the Hardware store. Now I buy them off Amazon.

Banana Republic makes a heavyweight crew neck t shirt. They're about $14 on sale. I'm a big fan - I used to wear them with jeans and a blazer and it was business casual appropriate.
