Is it kind of funny to anyone else that they get a new stadium and SUCK for their first season? :laughing

I think this happens in multiple sports actually this phenom. If I didn't know that Lacob really loves b-ball, I would just say that who cares, they are making so much money on concerts and gear, but I know he is just dyin' right now.

As painful as these last two games are to watch the real question is this: do each of the new guys finally adjust and find the basket or not? Because I saw some good things happening leading up to the shots, but they couldn't hit a layup, a dunk or a jumper. These guys wouldn't be in the NBA if they didn't have a record of getting shots. They are just in a funk and they need a hot streak game to get their confidence back. You can see that the newbs are afraid to take shots by the passing, just hoping that Steph gets open and using up the 24. The dark side is that sometimes rookies never really do get better and it becomes a game of how long a team holds their investment (I mean, we are in the land of JaCarcass Russell). I am feelin' iffy about Poole in this way. I hope I'm wrong.

I am going to continue being patient and hopeful. I believe in Steve (and all the rest). However, I admit, I left most of the fourth quarter unwatched on my DVR. Haven't erased it, yet, but it was extended gar-bahge time as the announcer said. And btw, I miss Jim Barnett. Kelenna is doin' fine but I learned more from JB so far.

I remember the first few games being disjointed when KD joined the team. This is an almost entirely rebuilt squad, its going to take some time and effort to get into a flow.

It isn't surprising.... No KD, Klay out, Looney hurt, Iggy gone - you've got a very, very different team. Not to mention the west is filled with even more talent this year.

Give it a few months before proclaiming End Times.

Man, Beverely is next level... He was shit talking the Warriors locker room janitorial staff while they were cleaning up.

did you watch the playoffs last year, Beverely was a MAJOR factor shutting down KD when he like 1 ft shorter then him (entire series) and making dubs go to a game 7 against the clippers.

He has the right to run his mouth meow that KD left.....

What he did on the floor against us had more passion and heart compared to the entire dub lineup.

Also he told curry the next 5 years are gonna be his.... and yea that maybe reality.....

We all knew it would be a rough year. I expected some better defense though. Maybe it'll get better with WCS and Looney back healthy. But i'm not holding my breath

Absolutely. It does make for a some conversation, though....I guess what's notable also is that it makes Curry and Draymond kind of into spectres of the past. Were they not there, it would be a completely different squad and fresh slate.

They are still there but nothing that was is around them. I know a lot in the leagues just love seeing those "cheating" warriors knocked down, that's what one of the pros tweeted. But like I said, I believe in Steve. Shoot, maybe put it on a t-shirt.

As of halftime, they have their first lead of the season!

When did Brian Shaw join the studio crew?

When they kicked JB off the broadcast and had to sub for Kelenna on the panel concept.

As for the Dubs, now we're cookin' even if against another broken-up and injured team. What a relief. Win or lose from here on in, this was just what they needed. Still some klangers but at least within NBA levels.

:laughing No, he wasn't. Here were KD's points in that series

Game 1: 23
Game 2: 21
Game 3: 38
Game 4: 35
Game 5: 45
Game 6: 50

KD laughed in his face and torched him all series. He averaged 35 points a game and was like +150 for the series. :laughing Beverly is the most overrated player in the NBA. He was a -55 in that series and his career PER is well below league average. You only notice him because of his mouth.

And it only went 6 games

Still a long way to go to determine if they're a playoff team BUT it does put the Spurs run into perspective. 15 years, 50+ wins and 5 rings. That's a good run.

If Warriors win another in 2-3 years it will solidify their dynasty and dominance more.

Spurs run took special players that didn't want all the $$$ and a hall of fame starter to agree to come off the bench (Manu). They also hit on a draft pick during that run, Kawhi (technically drafted by the Pacers and traded that night). Kawhi got them a ring.

As longs as we have these current owners and management and coach, we will have something akin to Spurs. I actually think more about the Patriots when I think of our current ownership. The model has a superstar or more, a great coach, ownership that loves the game instead of just making money, but most importantly, a system that elevates whoever is playing into better than perceived by regular benchmarks of draft status, etc etc. This last thing is put to the test this year and I am interested to see it play out. I believe in Steve, in Lacob, in Welts. Not sure about Guber but who cares.

Curry broken hand.

Call this season a wrap. Play the kids and see what's worth having going forward.

That's kd stomping, watch the games, check out all the other stats that made a desperate playoff team take the defending champs to a game 6, then read all the sport writers about Bev's performance vs dub team effort/drive.
