I read this sentiment elsewhere. I don't really get it. The whole damn show has inevitable gratuitous sex, at least with the decent looking actors. The actress is 22, fercrynoutloud. And she's pretty bad-ass at that, based on that story arc with the faces and stuff. Maybe I didn't understand what I was seeing then.
Great episode. All facing death, every individual says goodbye to the possibility of life ongoing. How fantastically poignant.
Yeah, that was the most uncomfortable I've been with any of the sex scenes in the show.
Which, I assume, is the intent of the scene.
seemed pretty tame to me. but i fell HARD for my dude when i was a child. met my SO when i was 14 (he was 15), we moved in together when i was 17, got married when i was 22 - and have been together ever since (longer than i care to say).

dude they set up hella people to die
TORMUND AND BRIENNE MUST MAKE HUGE BABIES THOUGH.
Ugh Sansa and Dani both got on my nerves this episode. Death is literally at their doorstep and all they can think about is who gets what assuming anyone survives. Dani didn't even care that she has been banging her nephew, just that his very existence now threatens her claim to the throne.
It was a nice send-off episode. I really with HBO could just pay Chris Hardwick to do a Talking Thrones special for this whole season.
Also annoyed that these two episodes were the usual 60 minutes. I was under the impression each episode this season would be much longer.
Anyway, I can't wait to see if anyone survives this battle. The way it's set up is that it looks like they'll deal with the whole prophesied Great War pretty quickly to then move onto the more emotional plot point of who gets the Iron Throne.
Then, who will write the book to foil the Night King's plan? I thought it would be Sam, and it seems like he would do it. But Tyrion is the one who wanted to sit with Bran and learn his story, which is the entire story of everything.
