I'm super tempted to get one. It honestly seems like a good deal. The DJI Phantom 4 is more expensive, and its camera isn't detachable. Plus, the Karma comes with a backpack, its own screen on the controller and the grip, which itself is $300 and seems like it'd be pretty versatile to use in different situations.

I'm sure the DJI is a better drone but the Karma seems so much more versatile.

battery should be swappable though, which is good... until they explode and burn your house down. Here's hoping GoPro has ifgured that out better then others.

I've got a coworker who bought a 6k drone and it has a similar battery life to the gopro.

Are there industrial drones with longer battery life? I swear I have seen one airborne for a solid 40-50 minutes over a brussel sprout field. It was twilight/sundown to boot.

I've actually stopped paying attention to the consumer level stuff.
I mostly read up on the proposed regs/laws now.

That guy who stopped working with us and went to gopro recently quit.
He said it was a brutal competitive environment.
