Not bad... 331 lbs wet, 44 hp claimed. Similar power/weight to CB500F but almost 100 lbs lighter and $1300 cheaper (since it includes ABS :thumbup).

subframe is welded to the main frame, that will suck for wadding at the track.
better hope KTM RC390 frames are cheap.

Sweet bikes though for sure!

Why do manufacturers call their bikes different numbers from the actually CCs of the bike? Why 390 if the engine is 375 CCs?

These small bikes look awesome until I actually go sit on one in the showroom, and the suspension compresses almost to the stops and the cockpit feels like I'm sitting on a kid's BMX bike. I'm not that big a guy (6'1"/175) and these bikes just feel tiny to me. I can't understand who fits on them. I thought the CBR250 was really cool in pictures, then I went and sat on one.

Dude those 390s are awesome! I want the Duke, and the RC. I wonder how hopped up you could make them… worth it or not.

Just throwing this out there, for less than most Ducati's OTD you could almost buy both of the 390s and have some spare change for mods. I'm rethinking my life right now.

I can hardly wait to get arrested on one of these things.

Very cool, small, light, nimble! What's not to like? :thumbup

Yeah, KTM is bad this way, I'm guessing it gives them room to expand without renaming. My "690" is actually 654cc but the 690 motor is now a full 690cc. My Ducati was 1099cc, they called it a 1098 which most Mfg's would have called it an 1100. :dunno

WHOA. I've never bought a new vehicle before in my life, but, uh, I think I need a Duke 390. That looks like a mean toy and a great commuter (I have a short commute but splitting is useful, and my WeeStrom sucks at it with the handguards and mirrors in the way all the time).

I keep telling myself I want to buy a fun "toy" bike like a hyper or dorsoduro, but the reality is most of my riding is weekend trips, and the Wee is so damned competent at it (comfort, wind protection, range, topcase) that the money spent on a Duc or Aprilia toy bike might be wasted.

But damn, for this kind of money the Duke 390 looks worth picking up.
